Authenticity (Sensitivity) Reading I review manuscripts for cultural accuracy, unconscious bias, stereotyping, and authentic representation. My reading practice centers marginalized and underrepresented communities, including Indigenous peoples, people with disabilities, LGBTQ+ individuals, racial and ethnic minorities, religious minorities, older adults, people experiencing socioeconomic hardship, neurodivergent individuals, and immigrants and refugees. As someone whose work spans multiple disciplines and communities, I bring both careful attention and genuine investment to this work.

I was initially unhappy about the idea of paying for the APA editing process. I'd had my paper proofread by five other people, after all, so it was pretty perfect already.
